Situated in northern Taiwan, near Danshui, Sanchih boasts of its natural beauties : beaches and mountains where you can do swimming, surfing and hiking, cherry blossoms during spring time, the world's only Algal Reef Bay, and many kinds of typical food to taste, like Celidium Amansii(stone flower) cold drinks and fresh bamboo shoots.
On top of that, various Taiwanese cultural events such as water bamboo Festival, International Kiting Festival, Taoist and Buddhist temple ceremonies, are taking place all around the year. You can also have a visit to world's famous Li Tien-Lu glove Puppet Museum.

Location: Take the MRT (red line) to Danshui Station. Change to the bus across the street (direction: Sanchih). Buy tickets at the ticket booth to make sure you're in the right direction. Get off at the Sanchih Junior High School. We can go and pick you up or you can have a nice wonderful walk here (around 20 minutes).
